On 8 October, EuroCham Vietnam, BusinessEurope, and amfori will organise a joint event: 'The EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement: Perspectives from Vietnam' in Brussels, Belgium.
The EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) has been concluded for some time. It will create a useful precedent in the field of trade and sustainable development for ASEAN and the wider region. Businesses, governments and relevant stakeholders encourage ratification to allow its entry into force.
Following a presentation of EuroCham Vietnam's 2018 EVFTA report, this event will:
- Identify the benefits and opportunities that the trade agreement will provide for both economies
- Examine the effects it will have on the institutional and structural reforms in Vietnam
- Share participants' perspectives and expectations of the EVFTA
The event brings together various stakeholders from government and industry in Europe and Vietnam.
