Deputy Minister Thanh is a Member of Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and also a Senior Colonel-General of the Vietnamese Armed Forces. He is the former Vice Director of the Central Office and was previously the Provincial Party secretary and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hai Phong City. Among the many areas in which he works, Deputy Minister Thanh contributed to the development of ISO 37120 on the sustainable development of communities (implemented by the International Standards Organization and the World Council on City Data in 2014). He is also a co-author of publications such as “Systematic Thinking for All - Journey from Theory to Practical Impact in Vietnam” (2016); “Unemployment: Perspectives and Solutions”, with a chapter on Job Creation in Hai Phong (2017); “The Impact of Industrial Policy on Improving the Competitiveness of Industrial Enterprises” (2017); “Building and Developing a Smart City" (2018)

Minh Anh Luong was born in Hanoi. She has a Master of Administration from US North Central University and 22 years of hands-on experience in supply chain, finance, marketing, and sales management at the highest level. Prior to joining ABB Vietnam, Mrs. Minh Anh's held several senior positions in leading companies, including Chevron Lubricants Vietnam (in supply chain and as Head of Business Planning & Demand, 2000-2011); Microsoft Vietnam (Business Planning Lead and Enterprise Marketing Lead, 2011-2014); and Samsung Electronics (Head of Enterprise Business, 2014-2018). Throughout her career, she worked and negotiated at the with leading Vietnamese and International corporations, in industries ranging from Real Estate, Oil & Gas, IT, to Electronics,and Electricity Utilities. Mrs. Minh Anh is a business leader who focuses on delivering results by building organisational capability upon a business vision, focusing on process improvement and talent development. She joined ABB Vietnam as Country Sales Director in July 2018.

Denis is the President of Ericsson Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos since 2017, and had been its Vice President since 2008. He is EuroCham Co-Chair since March 2018. Denis has been with Ericsson for most of his 27 years of experience, having practiced as an executive leader in the CMVL region, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Sweden and Australia. He has held a broad range of senior leadership roles, both involved in complex strategic initiatives and Government relations and partnerships. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and Management degrees from the London Business School and Boston University, USA. He received the Campaign Medal from the Ministry of Information and Communications in March 2014 for his contribution to the development of the ICT industry in Vietnam.
