Next week, the amended Labour Code will be submitted for discussion at the 8th Session of the XIV National Assembly (from 21 Oct to 21 Nov). This important piece of legislation will have a significant impact on the business environment as well as Vietnam's economic integration process.
In this light, EuroCham is honored to organise a special "Business Briefing" with the participation of Mr. Bui Sy Loi - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Social Issues. This Briefing aims to provide our members with an overview on the progress of the amended Labour Code, which promises to bring a number of key changes to the labour force of Vietnam.
Mr. Bui Sy Loi will also participate in an open Q&A session during the event to address the questions and concerns of the business community, especially on how businesses should prepare for the new regulations.
We encourage all EuroCham members to take advantage of this unique opportunity to directly discuss with the leader of the key advisory committee who is in charge of verifying and commenting on laws for the National Assembly.
In addition, we will also have updates from the business community's point of view, as we will be joined by Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hang - Partner of Baker McKenzie and Head of the Employment and Labour Practice in Vietnam, who will discuss: "Revised Labour Code: Recommendation for changes from enterprises".
