Ramon Bruesseler, born in 1962, studied Economic Geography, Economics and Development Economics at the universities of Bonn and Aachen, where he graduated as M.A. in 1989. Three years later he became Ph.D. (summa cum laude) and received the Borchers Award for outstanding scientific work.

After five years as a scientist, specializing in and publishing about Asian economic development he moved to a regional economic development agency as director of international marketing and infrastructure development.
2001 Dr. Bruesseler took over as CEO of Eurasia Managing Agency, an international consultancy with core business in strategy consulting and top management training and main focus on Asian markets. 2007 he became CIM expert and advisor to the board of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry where he worked on strategic and organizational issues and published several studies about the economic development of the country.

Since May 2011 Dr. Bruesseler is executive director of the European Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lao PDR, since 2015 he is also board member and treasurer of the European Business Organizations’ World Wide Network (EBOWWN), the global network of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Marc has extensive work experience in project management, consultancy, staff and budget management. Specialized in development, Public Private Partnership, Advocacy work, Marc has been living and working in developing Asian countries for 7 years.
With a strong international background through work experience in Europe, China, Central Asia and SE Asia, Marc holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Fudan University with a specialization in Macro-economic relations between China and the European Union.

Blaise Kilian is Deputy Director of the European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia where he is in charge of the Advocacy program. A graduate from the Paris Institute of Political Studies, he also received a higher education degree in applied economics and has an expertise in Khmer language and civilization. He has been residing in Cambodia since 1999, working for a number of public and private agencies, both Cambodian and foreign, such as UNESCO, French Embassy and Cambodia Airports. He has an extensive knowledge of the Kingdom and its business environment. He is fluent in French, English and Khmer.

Jérôme qualified as a French Lawyer (Avocat) and studied at the University of Oxford (LL.M. program in English law). Prior to that, he obtained a postgraduate Master’s Degree in Business and Tax Law at La Sorbonne-Paris I. Before joining DFDL Jérôme was with Freshfields in Hanoi for over six years and Linklaters in Paris. His practice is focused on M&A, private equity and investment fund formation and restructuring, in Vietnam and the rest of the Mekong region. Having been permanently based in Vietnam since 2004, Jérôme also advises on projects and finance matters. He is recognized as a leading practitioner by each of Chambers, Asia Pacific Legal 500 and IFLR1000. He speaks French, English, Italian and some Vietnamese.

Ralf has lived in and researched Vietnam since 1994.
After 20 years of Corporate life, Ralf established Infocus Mekong Research, Vietnam’s first dedicated smartphone based research agency, specializing in consumer trends, market entry and strategic brand development.
In 1996, Ralf established TNS Vietnam, followed up by Kantar Media & Worldpanel, TNS Cambodia & Myanmar and was in 2010 was promoted to Regional Managing Director - Mekong Region.
Ralf holds an honours degree from Wilfred Laurier University, Canada.

Nora has been living in Vietnam since June 2017 and is the Project Manager of the South-East Asia IPR SME Helpdesk Project, co-funded by the European Union. In her current position, Nora is building business and governmental relations across Southest Asia and monitoring the results of project activities. Prior to this, Nora had gained 3 years of professional experience in trade and business facilitation issues while working 2 years in China and 8 month in Vietnam. Nora is a Hungarian national, and holds a M.Sc. in International and European Affairs, obtained at Sciences Po Lille, France.

Anh Minh Vu is Founder & Managing Director of Indochina-focused Terraverde Travel Group and co-founder of Urban Space, an innovative educational business venture in Cambodia. Terraverde was established in 2005 with offices in Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam and affiliate offices in Laos specializing in customized travel, conference services and corporate events. Established in January 2017, Urban Space has become the most popular location for kids and family-friendly events in Phnom Penh. Expansion plan includes projects in Siem Reap and Sihanoukville.
Anh studied political science and economics in Marburg/Germany and Saskatoon, Canada and received a post-graduate degree in international project and event management from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, Austria.
Since 2015 he serves as chairman of AmCham’s Hospitality & Tourism Section Committee HCMC and is a regular speaker and facilitator at industry and public events. Recently Anh was appointed as Honorary Consul of Mexico in HCMC.
