Ms. Quyen Hoang is a partner in charge of the firm’s Corporate practice group. She advises in matters of corporate and commercial compliance, mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting and negotiation, investment, labor, and intellectual property. Michael Them Rasmussen started in 1985 his career with the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group. Initially a shipping trainee in the Copenhagen, Mr. Rasmussen moved in 1991 to North America where he was part of Maersk Line’s Trade Management function. In 1997 he moved to Singapore to take up a position as Maersk Line Global Sales Director responsible for a number of strategic global and regional clients.
In 2003 he became the Country Head for APM-Saigon Shipping, a Vietnam. Mr. Rasmussen joined APM Terminals in 2006 where he was appointed General Director for a deep-sea container port project in South Vietnam. After commercial launch, Mr. Rasmussen transferred to a regional Business Development role where he was overseeing APM Terminals’ investment activities in South East Asia.
On October 20 th , 2014 Mr. Rasmussen joined CMA CGM Vietnam as General Director responsible for the Vietnam and Cambodia agency activities.

Ethel started her career with Willis in 2002 as a claims executive handling all classes of claims.She brought a multi-million dollar marine cargo claim to settlement expediently within two
weeks from date of accident.
Ethel moved to Marsh in 2006 and began her career as a retail broker and subsequently Lockton in 2008. She independently managed a portfolio of corporate clients with both
onshore and offshore exposure including tailoring global program for regional clientele.Experienced in all classes of insurance including Employee Benefits and Marine Cargo.
In late 2010, Ethel joined Miller and was responsible for the developing, servicing and placement of regional marine account on a direct and reinsurance basis. Ethel is also
responsible for the placement of international marine business including the International Group P&I Reinsurance Program for all their 13 Clubs and fixed premium non-poolable
reinsurance program for the clubs into Asia. The International marine business range from Scandinavian, Japanese, German and Greek.
Ethel had been seconded to London in her previous employment and continues to maintain the relationships she had built with the market todate.
Ethel joined JLT Group in January 2016 as an Associate Director in the Marine Specialty Division and has been involved to develop the North Asia region including responsibility over
Brunei, Philippines and Malaysia. She is also involved with claims discussion with insurers and or re-insurers where required especially on complex and or ambiguous claims.
Grace was appointed as Swiss Re Corporate Solutions' Marine Cargo Underwriter for Asia Pacific in July 2015. Based in Singapore, Grace is responsible for helping manage the Marine portfolio and in her current role is exposed to different APAC Marine Cargo markets, working with numerous local and international clients and strategic broking partners.
