This workshop will be conducted by the EU-ASEAN Business Council (EU-ABC) in partnership with EuroCham Vietnam on Feb. 13 in Hanoi. It will discuss the following:
  • What can Vietnam do to implement a national screening program for Hepatitis C, HIV, and cervical cancer?
  • Health screening awareness varies by region, with urban residents being more knowledgeable. How can we bridge this gap?
  • How can private stakeholders work with the government to increase screening for communicable and non-communicable diseases?
  • Can Vietnam ensure that patients receive the right care and tests can be conducted for multiple diseases through an efficient laboratory and point-of-care infrastructure?
  • Taking into consideration the progress made so far, what more needs to be done to achieve universal health coverage over the next seven years?
  • What are the challenges Vietnam faces in its efforts to end the epidemic of AIDS and hepatitis by 2030?
