Head of Trade & Economic Affairs at The Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam
Ms. Garcia is the current Head of Trade Section at the EU Delegation to Vietnam, having been involved directly with the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement negotiations. Previously, she worked at the EU Delegation in Colombia and has been with the European Commission since 2001.
Hien Nguyen
Director - Clients & Markets of Deloitte Vietnam
Hien has 20+ years of experience as start-up entrepreneur, scholar, and corporate diplomat. She founded and ran a tech company that supplied hardware for IT and Telecom industries in Vietnam at the age of 23 and a will-writing business in Hong Kong prior to moving to Canada, where she spent over 8 years as a policy researcher and team-teaching a couple of communication courses for 1st- and 3rd-year students. Hien is currently serving as Director of Clients & Markets at Deloitte Vietnam, overseeing all marketing, communication, branding, social media, video production, web content creation, and publications for the firm.
Hien holds an MA in Educational Leadership from Simon Fraser University, Canada; an MBA from Hanoi University, Vietnam; and a BA in Teaching English as a Second Language from Vietnam Natioinal University.
Minh is Partner in charge of Tax & Business Advisory Services at Mazars Vietnam. Minh is also Executive Committee Member of Eurocham, and Executive Committee Member of the Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (CEEC). Minh supports international groups and foreign invested companies doing business in Vietnam via technical advice and various advocacy activities toward Vietnamese Government agencies. He is active in promoting business cooperation between Vietnam and European countries.
Almut has been in Vietnam for nearly 8 year and has been leading the EuroCham secretariat since March 2015. Previously, she was based in Hanoi where she managed the national representation of Xella, a German sustainable building solutions provider between 2010-2015. Before, she worked in consultancy and management positions in several companies Europe (Austria, Germany, and Ireland) and China.
