This December, EuroCham will organise a Government – Businesses Dialogue for EuroCham members with the presence of senior Ministry leaders. The event will be chaired by Minister and Chairman of the Office of Government, H.E. Mr. Mai Tien Dung, who is also the Chairman of Prime Minister's Advisory Council on Administrative Procedure Reform.
This is an open dialogue for all EuroCham members and Sector Committees to address their concerns and recommendations related to administrative procedures while doing business in Vietnam, and to receive feedback directly from the highest level of the Government. In light of the fact that the Government is currently building the upcoming Five-year Socio-economic Development Plan 2021–2025, following the Resolution of the 10th Central Committee XII, this Dialogue is a unique opportunity for companies to raise specific recommendations to the authorities for their consideration.
The event will take place at Van Mieu Room, Pullman, 61 Giang Vo, Dong Da, Hanoi from 13.30hrs to 17.00hrs, 12 December 2019. It will aim to discuss 3 main themes:
• Challenges of market access for goods and investment into Vietnam
• Challenges of circulating products in the market
• Challenges in daily business operation

Born 1959 in Ha Nam province, H.E.Mr. Mai Tien Dung is currently Minister and Chairman of the Office of the Government (OOG), and member of the Central Committee at11th, 12th tenures. He holds Ph.D. in Economics, University of Law with advanced political theory degree. As the Minister of the OOG, he is charged with coordinating with other ministries and provinces to monitor and supervise the implementation of decisions made by the Prime Minister and the Government at cabinet sessions. Besides that, he has held a range of important positions including Chairman of Prime Minister's Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform and Vice Chairman of the National Steering Committee on eGovernment. Prior to becoming a Cabinet Member during the 2016-2021 tenure, Minister Mai Tien Dung was Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam Province. He is known as a successful reform leader in many areas including administrative reform, investment promotion and local economic growth.
Nicolas is EuroCham Co-Chair since October 2017, having been a member of its Executive Committee since 2014, with particular involvement in the preparation of the White Book and advocacy on behalf of foreign investors to the Vietnamese authorities.
Member of the Paris Bar, Nicolas Audier is an attorney with 20 years of experience in the ASEAN Region and Vietnam in particular. He has been working in Vietnam since 1995 and was head of a leading international law firm in Vietnam from 1995 to 2008, before establishing Audier & Partners, which now has offices in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Ulan Bator and Yangon. He is special trade advisor on Vietnam for the French MFA since 1999, having been honored (“Bang Khen”) by the Vietnamese Minister of Justice in recognition of his substantial contribution to the development of Vietnam’s legal system, one of three lawyers to ever receive this distinction.
