EuroCham will organise two events in Danang on 14 June as part of its Q2 Central Vietnam flagship activities.
1. EUROCHAM WHITEBOOK BRIEFING (morning) - Danang Administrative Centre
EuroCham organises once again its key advocacy event in Central Vietnam: the Whitebook Briefing. The 2018 edition will be hosted by the Danang People's Committee and co-organised by the Danang Investment Promotion Agency (IPA Danang).
The Whitebook Briefing is a unique opportunity to discuss business-related topics directly with the local authorities.
Following the Whitebook Briefing 2017's format - much welcomed by both local companies and officials - the event will focus on topics affecting foreign enterprises in the region across key sectors and it is a great opportunity to approach them together with local Government representatives.
The Briefing will take place at the Danang Administration Centre and will have the presence of Chairman H.E. Mr. Huynh Duc Tho, as well as several local heads of department of the Danang People's Committee. EuroCham's delegation will be led by Co-Chairman Denis Brunetti.
Main Goals:
1. Provide EuroCham members with the opportunity to highlight business, trade and investment issues and exchange directly with Danang key officials and departments.
2. Present a brief overview and officially deliver the EuroCham Whitebook 2018 to the Danang People's Committee Chairman and local authorities.
3. Create an occasion for the local Government to communicate valuable first-hand trade and investment information.
How can you participate in the Whitebook Briefing?
The Whitebook Briefing is open to EuroCham members only (see how to become a member here).
There are two ways to participate:
1. Attend the event: and make the most of the dialogue and the direct contact with the authorities, with the opportunity to raise your questions at the Q&A session.
AND
2. Participate as a speaker: interested members will be given a 5-minute slot to raise their issues and recommendations to the local Government on sectoral and non-sectoral topics. Your participation is needed - check the "Participate as a Speaker" section of this website!

2. ECV NETWORKING (evening) - Furama Resort
Members and non-members are welcome to the EuroCham Central Vietnam (ECV) Quarterly Networking Q2 happening on the same day from 06:00PM onwards. Come and meet the business community. Make the most of this already well-established networking event.
It will be the first event EuroCham hosts in its soon to be Chapter "house" at the Furama Resort (05 Vo Nguyen Giap, Ngu Hanh Son, Danang).

Denis has been with Ericsson for a number of years, having practiced as an executive leader in the CMVL region, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Sweden and Australia. He has held a broad range of senior leadership roles, both involved in complex strategic initiatives and Government relations and partnerships. Branch Director of Axon Active VietnamMr. Hai Dang is Branch Director at Axon Active Vietnam-Da Nang branch. Axon Active is a Swiss Software Outsourcing company with 500 employees and 10 years experience in Vietnam. Mr. Hai is a Danang native and a graduate from the renown Danang University of Technology, where he currently teaches. He also serves as General Secretary of the Danang Software Association - a business organisation formed under the auspices of the Danang People’s Committee with the vision to gather ICT enterprises and boost the local industry and human resources in the field. Mr. Hai is active in promoting Danang's ICT community also through events carried out through Axon Active, which has been awarded the highest Certificate of Excellence for Software Companies by the city for 3 consecutive years (2015-2017).

Central Vietnam Delegate at EuroCham VietnamJose has been Central Vietnam Delegate for EuroCham Vietnam since November 2016, responsible for advocacy. He is the Legal Representative of Vinh Thanh Investments JSC (Hue Amusement and Beach Park) and Ket Doan Garment Factory. He is also the Vice Honorary Consul of Spain in Danang.
Nguyen Hai Minh
Tax and Legal Partner at Mazars Vietnam CEECMinh is Partner in charge of Tax & Business Advisory Services at Mazars Vietnam. Minh is also Executive Committee Member of Eurocham, and Executive Committee Member of the Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (CEEC). Minh supports international groups and foreign invested companies doing business in Vietnam via technical advice and various advocacy activities toward Vietnamese Government agencies. He is active in promoting business cooperation between Vietnam and European countries.

Deputy Director of IPA DanangMrs. Huynh Lien Phuong is the Deputy Director of Da Nang Investment Promotion Agency since 2010. Holding an Australian MA degree on Project Management, she is experienced in promoting FDI to Da Nang. She dealt with investors for about 25 years at the Danang Planning and Investment Department and at IPA Danang afterwards. Phuong is responsible for facilitating investors in setting up and operate their businesses in the city. She is in charge of planning and implementing promotion activities, as well as contributing to policy making towards improving the local investment environment.

CEO of Gami Theme Park
Mr. Dao Quang Tung, CEO of Gami Theme Park. Mr. Dao Quang Tung has over 15 years’ experience in business management, architecture, and construction. He has held managerial positions in Central Group Thailand, and other reputational organizations. Serving on the Management Board of Gami Theme Park since March 2018, he is now the CEO and Chairman of the company. He plays a crucial role in shaping, launching, and promoting Hoi An Memories Show and the upcoming Hoi An Impression Theme Park, with a view to delivering the mission of Gami to contribute to Vietnamese culture and tourism development.
