Chris Bland
APOLLO ENGLISH 360Chris is British and American but grew up abroad in countries throughout Africa, Asia and Europe. He is an experienced and professional language teacher, having taught English to students in Spain, Indonesia and Vietnam since 2011. He has taught courses ranging from children to adult classes, exam classes including IELTS, as well as 121 and business English.
Chris obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Geography and Spanish from the University of Wales, Swansea. He also completed his Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) with International House in Palma de Mallorca, Spain and more recently completed the Cambridge Diploma for English Teaching (DELTA) Module 2 in International House - Thailand, a tertiary level ELT qualification.
Before moving to Vietnam, Chris worked for various schools in Indonesia and Spain, including International House and English First. These positions have given him the experience to teach a diverse range of courses to all levels and ages.
Chris is a dedicated, enthusiastic and committed teacher, who has received positive feedback on his delivery of courses in various types of learning environments. He has successfully prepared students from a wide range of business backgrounds for their future English language needs. His teaching style involves working with the students’ priorities and making his classes as enjoyable and engaging as possible.
