LEARNING OVERVIEW
This workshop will provide you with the knowledge needed to understand how to manage projects. A structured approach to planning and controlling projects is a necessary core competency for business success today. Project Management is a set of principles, methods, and techniques that people use to effectively plan and control project work.
This introductory workshop is designed to give project management practitioners and team members the knowledge and understanding needed to plan, implement, and control projects to ensure the successful completion of their projects.

Deputy Director of Industrial Relations and Technology Transfer Centre and MBA Program Coordinator at the Vietnamese-German University (VGU)Mr Brian O’Reilly is a current the Deputy Director of Industrial Relations and Technology Transfer Centre and MBA Program Coordinator at the Vietnamese-German University (VGU).
Brian is also the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) Southeastern Vietnam Delegate for Community Building. In addition, Brian is the Chair of the Education and Training Working Group of the Vietnam Business Forum (VBF), and a founding member of the International Project Management Association of Vietnam (IPMAV).
Brian has been working in Vietnam for over 17 years in higher education, management consulting including business coaching, and corporate training. His work has been for clients coming from many parts of Vietnam and also countries such as Australia, Canada, Germany, India, Ireland, Korea, Singapore, South Africa, the UK, and the US. He has extensive experience in higher education and launched Vietnam’s first 100% foreign MBA program in Vietnam in 2003. Brian’s experience in higher education also includes launching and managing a number of business programs and lecturing in MBA and Bachelor programs for Australian, British, French, and Swiss Universities and Business Schools.
Brian has been involved in project management for over 38 years projects involving road design and construction, corporate restructuring, IT implementation, and a variety of other corporate projects. Brian also designs and delivers education and training programs in project management. In addition Brian is a Project Management Professional (PMP).
