On Tuesday June 30th in Hanoi, EuroCham will launch its annual Whitebook report at a special dialogue with the Prime Minister's Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform (ACAPR).
The event, entitled "Administrative Reform: A Key Role in EVFTA Implementation", will be co-organised between EuroCham and the ACAPR, and will include honoured special guest H.E. Mr Mai Tien Dung, Minister-Chairman of the Government Office. It will take place from 07.30 to 11.30 at the Melia Hotel Hanoi, and bring together hundreds of Government officials, business leaders, investors, journalists, and members of the diplomatic corps.
The Whitebook, now in its 12th edition, Is EuroCham's flagship publication of trade and investment issues and recommendations. It collects the insights of EuroCham's 17 Sector Committees and makes concrete, sector-specific suggestions to improve Vietnam's business climate, investment environment, and legal framework.
With the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) set to enter into force in August, and following the Government's positive record of reform in streamlining administrative procedures, this dialogue will be a unique chance for both business and Government authorities to discuss opportunities to accelerate the process of administrative procedure reform ahead of the EVFTA's implementation.
