OPTIMISM – RESILIENCE – ADAPTABILITY
The European Chamber of Commerce will host a special event this December to recognize the resilience of our members during COVID-19 and look forward to 2022 with optimism now that the pandemic is being brought under control.
The event will bring European business leaders together for the first time after months of lockdowns, social distancing, and travel restrictions. We want to create a space for our members to reconnect and look ahead to a more positive, optimistic 2022 after the challenges of the pandemic.
The event will also recognise the best of European business in EuroCham's fourth-annual business awards. Nominations are now open (more details below) and, alongside our usual award on green and sustainable business, we will celebrate resilience and the companies who have supported Vietnam and their workers during COVID-19.
Our event will be held on Friday 3rd of December. We plan to host a simultaneous, in-person event at hotels in Hanoi and HCMC. This should enable more members to join without having to travel to one single location.
Of course, even though Vietnam is opening up again and public health restrictions are easing, the situation could change at short notice. Therefore, we are also working on a back-up, online alternative so that the event can still go ahead if government restrictions prevent us from meeting in person.
