Ambassador Julien Guerrier was working for close to 30 years at the European Commission, mainly on international trade negotiations, industrial and research policy, and corporate management issues. Prior to coming to Vietnam, he was in charge of the Directorate developing the overall policy for the EU funding programme for research and innovation, Horizon Europe.

As a representative of the Commission, he also headed the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation in Tokyo (2008-2011); the European Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (2017-2020), which managed EU Programmes for the competitiveness of SMEs, for research and innovation, for climate and environmental action as well as the pilot European Innovation Council and the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund.

Before joining the Commission, he was at the French Ministry of Public Works and participated in an exchange of officials with the Japanese administration, where he worked for one year. Ambassador Guerrier graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées in France and holds an MBA.

Bruno Jaspaert is the Belgian CEO at DEEP C Industrial Zones, one of the biggest industrial zone developers in Vietnam with a land portfolio of 3400 ha in Haiphong and Quang Ninh. Prior to this position, he had 25+ years of demonstrated experience with sales, production, innovation, project and strategy management, innovation and strategy management in leading multinational companies throughout Asia and Europe in chemicals, logistics, steel and oil & gas industry. Bruno is a multilingual team builder driven by people, positive impact and innovation. He is holding a master’s degree in International Relations and Affairs and a master’s degree in Commercial Engineering.
Currently he is also a non-executive director of the Ras Al Khaima Economic Zone (RAKEZ) in the Emirates and the chairman of EuroCham in Vietnam.

Hien has over 8 years of experience in management and strategy consulting. Prior to joining PwC, he was a project manager at L.E.K. Consulting in the Paris office. He worked on numerous transaction due diligence projects for global private investors and corporate clients. In addition, Hien has been involved in various long-term strategic advisory projects across multiple sectors in Vietnam, including personal finance, banking, retail, construction, transportation, industrial services, and energy.
Hien holds a Master’s degree in Economics from ESSEC Business School (France), with a specialization in Corporate Strategy and Social Enterprise.

Tung Nguyen, a senior associate at BakerHostetler in Washington DC, focuses his practice on international trade, drawing on extensive experience representing foreign governments and companies in U.S. trade remedies and unfair trade investigations. He also advises clients on U.S. customs law, import compliance and trade policy.

Tri-Mai Hoang is Airbus Chief Representative in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

In this role, as the Airbus Chief Representative in Vietnam, Tri-Mai is responsible for representing Airbus in the country, leading One Voice, Governmental Affairs and Country integration (One Roof). She contributes to and implements the country strategy, as well as supports Airbus sales campaigns in Vietnam.

Tri-Mai reports to Anand Stanley, Airbus Head of Region Asia Pacific and Head of Sales Commercial Aircraft.

Tri-Mai joined Airbus in 2021 on the back of 17 years’ experience in Vietnam leading Rolls-Royce’s operations as Country Head for Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and the Philippines.

Born in Hanoi, she has a degree in Business Economics from University of Reading, United Kingdom and has a Diploma of French Language and Civilization from Sorbonne University, Paris, France. She cares deeply about children, education and the environment and is an advocate for Sustainability and Gender Equality.
