Ho Chi Minh City is striving to transform into an innovative and smart city, a growth model that promotes an ecological balance between public health, safety and urban infrastructure development. Those efforts are expected to address significant pressure from the increasing population density in urban areas and the on-going rapid urbanisation, such as aging infrastructure and environmental concerns. A successful sustainable city model in cooperation the public and private sector will offer Ho Chi Minh City residents an environmental-friendly lifestyle along with green spaces and green buildings, and further attract a greater flow of foreign investment into the City.
In light of this, EuroCham Green Growth Sector Committee is pleased to co-organise the "Moving toward Sustainable Cities" conference with our partner Vietnam Green Building Council to provide direct discussion between the authorities and foreign investors on developing green buildings toward a sustainable city in Ho Chi Minh City.
We welcome investors, developers, project owners in related fields to join us to and learn how to make Ho Chi Minh City's development more sustainable.
