Chris Fossick is Chief Executive Officer, Southeast Asia, at JLL. He is also a member of the Asia Pacific Executive Board which oversees the growth and leadership of JLL’s Asia Pacific businesses. JLL is a Fortune 500 company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and is a professional services and an investment management firm offering specialised real estate services. It has over 50 years of experience in Asia Pacific, with 39,000 employees operating in 80 offices in 16 countries across the region.
Previous experience:
Chris started his career in 1985 in London, as an undergraduate at Barclays Bank, where he spent 12 months as part of the team that was responsible for the property management of the Bank’s real estate portfolio. That year, he was also involved in the relocation of Barclays Investment Banking Division’s headquarters.
After graduating from the University of South Wales, he joined Savills, a real estate consultancy in London, under their Graduate Program. After two years moving between their businesses, he joined their central London agency team. During that period, he worked on the planning and leasing of the iconic Canary Wharf development in London Docklands.
In 1989, he moved to Asia to join CBRE Singapore as part of, and later leading the Singapore and Asia office leasing teams. In 2003, after completing an MBA at the University of Chicago, he transferred to Tokyo as President and CEO of CBRE Japan, where he helped build the business into one of their largest in Asia Pacific and became widely recognised as an industry leader in Japan’s real estate market. In 2006, he relocated to Singapore to join JLL in his current role.
Chris has overseen the growth of JLL’s Southeast Asia business over the past 12 years. He has also remained actively involved in working with clients. During his career, he has helped clients acquire and sell more than S$25 billion worth of commercial real estate in Singapore, Southeast Asia and the United Kingdom. He has also helped clients conclude over 40 million square feet of commercial leasing transactions in the office, retail and industrial sectors, and spearheaded the development, analysis and marketing of over 60 major commercial developments.
Chris was a board member of Sentosa Development Corporation in Singapore from 2009 to 2015, and the Global Vice President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors from 2011 to 2014. He is currently a member of RICS’ Global Remuneration Committee and Independent Non-Executive Director of Pacific Century Regional Developments, Limited.
Stephen Wyatt is Country Head of Jones Lang LaSalle Vietnam and is responsible for overall operations of the Company.
Previous Experience:
Joining the industry in London in 1996, Stephen has over 20 years’ experience with various international real estate consultancies. He has broad and diverse experience in managing businesses, investment transactions, leasing and development consultancy covering three continents, Europe, Africa and Asia. Stephen worked in London for 11 years from 1996 to 2007 with Cushman & Wakefield and Knight Frank. In 2004, Stephen was promoted to Partner with Knight Frank. In 2007, Stephen moved to manage the Knight Frank business in Botswana, Africa. In June 2010 – August 2013, he was appointed as Managing Director of Knight Frank, Vietnam.
Stephen joined Jones Lang LaSalle Vietnam in September 2013 as the Country Head.
Major Achievements:
• Growing the JLL business in Vietnam and finding innovate solutions for clients.
• Manage & Motivate over 350 people.
• Advised one of the largest property funds within Vietnam on their $280m divestment strategy.
• Currently advising major HK group on the divestment of a $40m prime development site in District 2, HCMC.
• Instructed by Affordable Housing Developer to raise $50m for a new “seed portfolio” to develop affordable housing.
Mr. Vo Sy Nhan is currently the Vice President of Tien Phuoc Real Estate JSC., an investor and real estate developer with over 23 years of experience in Vietnam. He is known as the main partner and Co-Founder of GAW NP Capital real estate investment fund.
Before joining Tien Phuoc, Mr. Nhan worked at the Department of Planning and Investment of Ho Chi Minh City in the position of the Head of the Investment Promotion and Management of ODA projects. After 8 years working in the state office, Mr. Nhan has returned to the private business.
During the last few years, he has gained several major achievements in structuring and arranging a number of international standard real estate development projects such as The Estella (apartment complex, US $ 150 million), Le Meridien Saigon complex. (5-star hotel and high-class office A, invested 130 million US dollars), Villa Arcadia (US $ 120 million), OneHub Saigon (US $ 130 million complex), Nam Rach Chiec Center (US $ 250 million), and Thu Thiem Empire City (US $ 1.2 billion). Most recently, GAW NP Capital acquired Indochina Land's real estate portfolio in Vietnam, including Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa, Indochina Plaza Hanoi and 2 other projects in Da Nang and TP. Ho Chi Minh.
Mr. Nhan graduated from Deakin University (Australia) in 1999, with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Economics and Marketing. Furthermore, he also had an MBA from Maastricht School of Management (Netherlands) in Strategic Management in 2004.
Caleb has been working in Vietnam since 2007. He is currently the General Manager at Hongkong Land Vietnam. Concurrently, he is also the Executive Committee Member in Hongkong Land Vietnam's residential joint venture companies. Prior to that, he was the Head, Investment and Asset management in Singapore listed company and worked as a civil engineering consultant.
Caleb holds a master's degree in Business Administration and bachelor's of science degree in Civil Engineering.
Mr. Andy Han Suk Jung has over 15 years of experience in real estate development, construction management, and operation in Korea and Vietnam.
He joined SonKim Land in 2015 as Chief Operating Officer, and promoted as Chief Executive Officer in Feb 2018.
Before coming to Vietnam, he was with as General Manager in charge of Business Development, specializing in residential apartment in Korea. He was responsible for managing on-going construction projects and searching for overseas business opportunities.
He graduated with a B. S. in Business & Economics, Marketing at Lehigh University, PA, USA.
