In this increasingly globalized world, as businesses make inroads into foreign markets, develop relationships with foreign vendors, and build multicultural workforces, it is more important than ever for managers to learn how to manage diversity in the workplace and ensure that all talent is welcomed and fostered and accepted. Not only is it good business, it is the right thing to do. Therefore, the EuroCham HR & Training Sector Committee is hosting an event and panel discussion of professionals and leaders from civil society and business to inform and inspire participants on best practice for creating a positive working environment for all employees, and of the practical benefits in doing so. Our workshop will particularly address issues in respect to LGBT individuals and also gender and will provide participants with a road map for ensuring that all employees feel accepted and comfortable in the workplace.
