Neil was made a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2012 in recognition of his services to the property profession overall and Vietnam in particular.
Neil MacGregor was trained and qualified as a real estate specialist in London, England, gaining experience particularly in property valuation and investment. He worked in the international investment team at DTZ Debenham Tie Leung, responsible for major property investment acquisitions and sales throughout the UK and Europe. Neil has completed some of the largest investment transactions in Vietnam, including the sale of Pacific Place in Hanoi in 2010 and Saigon Tower in 2011. Prior to his focus on investment advisory services, his main experience in Vietnam was in corporate commercial services acting for numerous large clients such as Manulife, Unilever, Adidas-Salomon, Bao Minh CMG and Prudential for lease negotiations, rent reviews and general commercial property advice. He has also acted for diplomatic entities including The British Consulate. Neil successfully negotiated the largest leasing transaction in Vietnam with Phu My Hung’s 10,000 sq m build to suit office building for Unilever’s SE Asian headquarters in Saigon South.
