Mr. Lam has over 26 years of experience working with multinational corporations and Vietnam clientele in all business sectors. He specializes in providing clients in inbound investment, M&A advisory, local tax advice, custom duty review and other compliance issues relating to inbound investment.

Prior joining to RSM Vietnam (for 15 years), Lam has been with one of the Big 4 in Vietnam, Malaysia and Australia for 11 years, advising many multinational com-panies on their investment structuring, entry strategies, foreign investment regulations, international and local tax planning and compliance.

Lam is currently in charge of RSM Vietnam’s tax and consulting practice providing local tax and customs compliance, outsourcing and advisory services to foreign investors entering into and operating Vietnam. He has also represented various companies and industries in their representations to local authorities in matters relating to foreign investment and taxation policies and interpretations.

Lam is lecturing in Accounting, Tax, Risk and Business Management and related subjects for ACCA (F6), CPA Australia, VTCA, VACPA and Bolton University.

As a commercial lawyer with degrees from the universities of Trier and Cardiff, and holding a pre-degree in business administration, Oliver has been providing and developing services for enterprises throughout his career.
He has consecutively held leading positions in private business, chambers of commerce and business associations in Germany, Vietnam, China and Georgia.

A German citizen, Oliver has also engaged in EU programmes, vocational training, lectures and authorships, and commenced his work for EuroCham in Ho Chi Minh City this week.
