EUROCHAM TRANSPORTATION & LOGISTICS SECTOR COMMITTEEE

The Transportation & Logistics Sector Committee was established in 2009 to provide an advocacy forum for EuroCham members in the transportation and logistics sector (including shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, logistics service providers, air express operators, warehouse operators, and other companies with related services). Vietnam with its favorable situation in the Asian region has seen steady growth of import and export volume during the last decade. Containerized sea freight alone has risen annually at around 20%. The transportation and logistics sector is important for Vietnam’s economy as it enables Vietnam’s industry to be competitive worldwide in their supply chains and also opens future markets for Vietnam, e.g. as a transportation/transshipment hub.
