Mr. Lieberg, born 1963, holding German and Estonian citizenship, speaks fluently five languages, and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Munchen (Germany) in Development Policy Planning, a M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology, and a B.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences.
Besides working for other multilateral organizations (World Bank, European Commission, UNDP, IFAD, WFP and others), Mr. Lieberg has since 1988 been rendering services continuously to FAO through a long series of assignments for a variety of Departments and in over fifty (50) different countries of Asia, Africa and Latin-America. Beyond his conceptual, managerial and technical capacity, Mr. Lieberg has gained solid knowledge of UN policies and procedures over the last two decades and is highly experienced in inter-agency cooperation and negotiations with governments and bi/multi-lateral development partners/donors.
For the past twenty years Mr. Lieberg has been working exclusively as Team-Leader and Senior Advisor on a series of high-level UN assignments - at the country as well as at the corporate level - and leading multi-disciplinary teams of national and international staff/consultants on partially complex and delicate missions. The focus of his assignments has been centred on rural/agricultural development strategy/policy and programme planning - including analysis, formulation and evaluation of frameworks, programmes and projects - with particular emphasis on poverty alleviation and income generation, food security and sustainable livelihoods, investment for development, post-conflict/post-disaster emergency/rehabilitation and related transition
Kohei Sakata is Head of Customer Experience and Digital Strategy for the Crop Science Division of Bayer, covering the whole Asia Pacific region including Australia/New Zealand, Greater China, South Asia, Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia.
Prior to taking on this role in April 2019, Kohei was Managing Director for Bayer Vietnam Ltd., as well as Country Commercial Lead for the Crop Science business in Vietnam since 2016. He first began his career with Bayer in Japan in 2013, as the Head of Marketing for Bayer CropScience K.K. Before joining Bayer, Kohei was Associate Principal with McKinsey & Company’s Japan office, a role he held since 2004.
Dr. Brian Hull was born in Ireland. He joined ABB in 2000 in the Low Voltage Systems (LVS) business in the UK and then held various management roles including Managing Director for LVS in the UK, Managing Director for Measurement and Analytics in the UK and Ireland. Brian was Country Managing Director of ABB in Oman and Bahrain for 4 years before becoming Country Managing Director of ABB in Vietnam in 2017.

Julie Ly graduated with Hons Bachelor of Commerce at McMaster University and held several sales and marketing positions at Deloitte, Pepsico, and the Royal Bank of Canada.
Julie Ly is now the Sales and Marketing Manager at Control Union focusing on sustainability and quality control within the agriculture, aquaculture, and textiles markets. Control Union was founded in Rotterdam, The Netherlands in 1920 rooted in agricultural inspections and has now grown to over 70 offices globally.
Tri joined NS BlueScope Vietnam as a Vice President – Residential Retail & SME Business in 2016 and currently holds President role of NS BlueScope Lysaght Vietnam. Dung is IDH Vietnam Country Director since 2017. Before joining IDH, he worked as Program Manager at WWF Vietnam and Sustainable Landscape Team Leader with SNV. He also had more than 10 years of working with government (MONRE and MOFI).
During his career, he has worked and has a lot of experiences in numerous areas of environmental sustainability including agriculture commodities, aquaculture and fisheries, climate change, biodiversity, wildlife and timber trade, forestry, wetlands, sustainable landscapes, etc.
Minh is Partner in charge of Tax & Business Advisory Services at Mazars Vietnam. Minh is also Vice-Chairman of EuroCham, and Executive Committee Member of the Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (CEEC). Minh supports international groups and foreign invested companies doing business in Vietnam via technical advice and various advocacy activities toward Vietnamese Government agencies. He is active in promoting business cooperation between Vietnam and European countries.
