The What: The province attracted 3 billion USD in foreign direct investment in 2017 alone, from all over the world in important sectors for the Vietnamese economy. KPMG will describe the economics behind Danang's success with foreign investors, what the future holds, and other important details that newcoming businesses need to know.
The How: The city-province offers advantages to foreign investors and businesses, with ICT, High Tech and Tourism seen as priority sectors. This is part of a strategy to position Danang as a leading hub for added-value industries and services in a smart and sustainable city. The Director of the Danang Investment Promotion Agency will describe the rationale behind this, as well as the various tax incentives given to newcomers.
